The Kid Laroi "First Time"

The Kid Laroi "First Time" Vinyl, 2-LP Set, Album, Deluxe Edition, Stereo (2025 Columbia Records pressing) [PARENTAL ADVISORY - EXPLICIT LANGUAGE]

Released on November 10, 2023, through Columbia Records, The First Time is The Kid LAROI’s debut studio album. Across 20 tracks, the Australian singer and rapper blends melodic hip-hop, polished pop, and alternative influences into a collection centered on heartbreak, loss, growing up, and the pressures of rapid fame. Moving between confessional singing and rhythmic rap delivery, he balances intimate ballads with more energetic, beat-driven tracks.

Highlights include the vulnerable ballad “Bleed,” the guitar-led “Love Again,” and “Too Much,” featuring Jung Kook and Central Cee. The atmospheric “Nights Like This” offers a more understated contrast, while “What Just Happened” brings a pop-rock edge. Guest appearances from Future, BabyDrill, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Robert Glasper, and d4vd broaden the album’s musical palette without displacing LAROI’s distinctive voice.
