Originally released by RCA Records in October 1977, “Heroes” was David Bowie’s twelfth studio album and the second entry in his so-called Berlin Trilogy. Recorded at Hansa Studios in West Berlin and produced by Bowie and Tony Visconti, it extended the experimental direction of Low. Brian Eno helped shape its electronic textures, while Robert Fripp contributed the sustained, expressive guitar work that gives much of the record its distinctive edge.
