“Show Me Love” is a house single by American singer Robin S. (Robin Stone), written and originally produced by Allen George and Fred McFarlane and first issued in 1990 on Champion Records in the UK. In 1992, Swedish producer/DJ StoneBridge created the “StoneBridge Club Mix,” a rebuild that largely stripped the track down to its vocal and core rhythm and re-framed it with a driving groove and the now-iconic Korg M1 organ-style bassline—helping turn the song into a crossover club and radio staple. The remix circulated widely in Europe, the US, and Japan and became the best-known version of the track.
The StoneBridge Club Mix is frequently cited as a defining early-1990s club record, associated with classic house and UK garage crossover, and it helped push house music further into the mainstream.
